Arogyashram was established in 1961 by The Sadvaidyasala Private Limited, a premier Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing Company. The Company itself was started in the year 1913 by Bhishak Ratna Ayurveda Vidwan B.V.Pundit (1987 -1975).
The Arogyashram Trust is currently governed by nine trustees with Padmabhushan Prof. Dr. B.V.Sreekantan as its Chairman. The main objects of the trust are to provide authentic Ayurvedic treatment for various diseases and to indulge in activities related to the promotion, progress and development of the science of Ayurveda.
At the Arogyashram we have successfully treated over 300,000 patients for various problems since its inception. Well supported by the genuine and authentic Ayurvedic products manufactured by the parent Company, Arogyashram has been brought tremendous relief to patients of suffering from disorders like asthma, anxiety, arthritis, back pain, diabetes, depression, eczema, hypertension, obesity, psoriasis etc., using Panchakarma and other traditional Ayurvedic treatment procedures which are without adverse effects.
